Getting Started Series - Configure and Personalize your Call Settings
This will all be done via your Dashboard at App.800.com
Log into your Dashboard and click "Numbers" on the left menu of your Dashboard, and then click on the number you would like to configure to adjust any of the settings below.
1. Confirm and Configure your automated settings

Below are some things that have already been set up for you:

- Your new number will automatically forward to your account phone number
- Your call forwarding method will be set to Standard Forwarding
- The caller's number is defaulted to appear as your caller's number
- You will receive email notifications for any new Texts or Voicemails
- Your Voicemail greeting is auto-configured to play a general greeting message, that includes the business name entered on your order
2. Personalize - Add your personal touch and preferences to your call settings

Set your ring time
- We recommend 25 seconds - that's about 4-5 rings for the customer.

Adjust your forwarding method if you are forwarding to more than one number
- Standard Forwarding - Refers to having calls to your toll-free number routed to one number at a time
- Simultaneous - Transfers calls to multiple numbers at the same time.
- Sequential - Routes the call to the first number on a list and, if there is no answer, to the next and so forth.
- Geo - Limits calls to only be accepted, per the caller's geographical location.
- Voicemail - Sends the call directly to your voicemail.
- Create a personal VM greeting
