How To Set Up Keywords

Step 1: Log In To Your 800.com Account

Log in to your account. Ensure you have administrative access, as only admins can generate and manage Keywords.

  • If you’re not already using 800.com, sign up for an account and then log in.

Step 2: Enable Keywords

To enable your Keywords:

  1. Go to Numbers > select the number you want to enable notifications
  2. Click the 3 dots on the right side > hit Manage

  1. Scroll down to the Keywords section > click the Add Keyword button

  1. Fill in the Keyword, Message and choose a contact list, if needed > hit Save

  2. Hit Save at the top of the page to save any changes.

Step 3: Send A Test

Once Keywords are set up, it is important to send a test to confirm that enabling the keywords were successful.

Enable/Disable, Edit & Delete Keyword

  • Use the toggle to Enable and Disable the Keyword
  • Click the Pencil icon to edit the Keyword
  • Click the Trashcan icon to Delete the Keyword
