In some cases, we will consider refunding a charge if an account is closed within 2 or 3 days of a recurring transaction and minimal usage is accrued. If excess usage charges are contained in such a transaction, a refund will not be considered for those respective charges.
For cancellations related to annual subscriptions, there is a 4 month window where refunds can be processed. If an annual account is closed within 4 months of processing an annual subscription, a refund can be initiated for the annual subscription fee, less the amount that was owed for the months where services were available and any applicable overage charges. This would be the case for new accounts and annual renewals. Any discounts afforded for maintaining annual plans would be forfeited and the full monthly amount would be deducted from any refunds being considered.
When a number or number(s) are Ported to Another Carrier and an account is to be closed, following such transfers, a $100 fee will be deducted for every number being ported. If an amount greater than the amount due for these transfers and any applicable months and usage has been paid, a refund can be issued for the difference.
