Web Search

Search mode will replace the page’s phone number when the lead arrives there from a search engine query. You can choose which search engine to track, or select all. There is also an option to track paid, organic, or all searches.

To set up a campaign with this method, select the “Numbers” category from the column on the left side of the online portal.

Scroll down and expand the "Campaign Attribution" section and toggle it on.

In the upper left box you will then enter the "Target Phone Number" (the number you wish to replace on your website). The box on the upper right is a drop-down where you select the campaign strategy you would like to use for your toll-free number.

Select "Web Search" from the drop-down and then select the search engine you would like to direct to your toll-free number in the drop-down on the bottom left. You can also pick the "All" option if you would like all web search queries to be directed to the number. The drop-down on the bottom right lets you differentiate between "Paid" search engine responses and "Organic" (general) responses. If you would like both directed to this toll-free number, select "All" from this category.

Be sure to click "Save" when finished.

*It is important to note that when using campaign attribution, all the linked numbers will fall under the "tracking numbers" category instead of the "numbers" category within the user interface.
