Connecting Your Calendar

If your 800 AI Agent has the Scheduling skill enabled, it needs access to a calendar to check availability and book appointments during a call, rather than just taking a message. 800.com supports connecting your calendar through several providers — choose the guide below for the one you use:

Where to Connect

All calendar integrations start from the same place:

  1. Log in to your 800.com account.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Integrations.
  3. Scroll to the Scheduling section and select your provider.

From there, each provider has its own sign-in and authorization flow, followed by a configuration step (selecting the calendar or event type your 800 AI Agent should use, setting bookable hours, and — for calendar-based providers — slot settings like appointment duration and buffers). Calendly works a bit differently: since Calendly manages its own availability and event types, there's no separate bookable-hours or slot configuration in 800.com — you just select which Calendly event type your 800 AI Agent should book.

The built-in 800.com Calendar doesn't require signing in to an external account — you configure it directly, and it additionally lets you add bookings manually or block off times from within the same settings panel.

Verifying and Managing Your Connection

For Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar, and Calendly, every integration follows the same pattern:

  • Activate your configuration to turn it on.
  • Under Connection, click Verify to confirm it's working — a green confirmation message will appear once verified.
  • Click Edit at any time to update your configuration, or scroll to the bottom of the configuration section and select Deactivate to turn it off.

800.com Calendar is managed a bit differently: click the gear icon under Settings for that integration to add bookings, block off times, or adjust settings. To edit or remove the integration entirely, use the three-dot menu next to it and select Edit or Delete.

Good to Know

  • Your 800 AI Agent only books and checks availability on the calendar or event type you've selected — it doesn't modify other events.
  • If a connection is deactivated or access is revoked on the provider's side, Scheduling will stop working until it's reconnected.
  • Each provider guide above has the full step-by-step with screenshots — this page is just the overview.
