Overview
Voice Cloning allows you to create a custom voice for your AI Agent, giving callers a more natural and personalized experience. Instead of using a standard text-to-speech voice, your AI Agent can use a synthesized voice that mirrors a real person's tone, delivery, and speaking style.
This feature is ideal for businesses that want their AI Agent to sound more like their brand, receptionist, or team members.
Prerequisites
Before cloning a voice:
- You must have access to AI Agents.
- An AI Agent must already be created.
- You must have a voice sample available to complete the cloning process.
How to Clone a Voice
- Log in to your 800.com account.
- Navigate to AI Agents.
- Click Agents.
- Select the AI Agent you would like to update.
- Click the Voice tab.
- Click Clone Voice.
- Follow the instructions in the Voice Cloning wizard.
- Upload the required voice sample.
- Complete the wizard and save your changes.
Once processing is complete, your AI Agent will begin using the cloned voice for future conversations.

Selecting a Standard Voice
If you prefer not to use Voice Cloning, you can choose from the available voice library.
- Navigate to AI Agents > Agents > [Agent] > Voice.
- Open the Voice dropdown menu.
- Browse or search available voices.
- Select your preferred voice.
- Save your changes.
The voice library includes a variety of voices with different accents, age ranges, tones, and speaking styles.
Managing Your AI Agent Voice
You can update your AI Agent's voice at any time by returning to the Voice tab within your Agent settings.
Changes take effect for future conversations and can help you tailor the caller experience as your business evolves.
