Fix Missed Calls on a Pixel or Stock Android Phone by Turning Off Spam Filtering

Missed or blocked calls on a Pixel or stock Android phone are often caused by spam filtering settings, not a problem with your service. Follow these steps to turn off call filtering so calls come through normally.

  1. Open the Phone app.
  2. Tap More options (three dots), then tap Settings.
  3. Tap Caller ID & spam.
  4. Turn off Filter spam calls or See caller ID & spam.
  5. If spam text messages are also an issue, open Messages, go to Settings, then Spam protection, and turn off Enable spam protection.

If calls are still not coming through after these steps, check with your carrier for network-level call blocking.
