Download the mobile app HERE.

The In-App Calling feature will allow you to make and receive calls directly from the 800.com app.

Please note that this must be turned on in order to view and use the Enhanced Caller ID feature add-on in app.

Enable In-App calling for your 800 Mobile App via the Dashboard

In order to enable Enhanced Caller ID in the app you will first need to turn on in-app calling from your dashboard.

  1. Go to your Dashboard > Numbers
  2. Select the number you would like to enable
  3. Scroll down to the Call Forwarding section
  4. Select the "In-App Calling" tab
  5. Select "Yes" to disable call forwarding to your phone number (Don't worry you can configure multiple recipients to receive calls, in the settings page that follows)
    • For anyone in your business (outside of yourself) that you want to receive calls, they will need to be a "User" in your account. So if they are not already, you will need to invite them to your account and add them as a "User".
  6. Configure your In-App settings to add any additional users that need to receive calls
    • Help on adding or editing users HERE.

Configure your settings

  1. Under the "Send all calls to" section you can select the users you would like to receive calls or select All Users and every user will receive the call via the app when it comes in.
  2. Configure when each user would receive calls, by adjusting the times on the box to the right of their to name.
  3. If you need to add a user go to Settings > Users and invite them via email. This will be the same email they use to log into the app.
    • View how-to add a user article HERE
    • Download App Link - https://800.com/app
    • They will use the same email and password they created in the dashboard to log into the app
  4. We suggest leaving the Caller ID setting to "Callers Info" so they can easily save any caller a a contact or call them back if they get disconnected.
  5. Ring time setting is defaulted to 20 seconds, which is about 4 rings. You can adjust to your preferences.
  6. That's it! You and any additional users can now receive and make calls directly from the app.

How to make and receive calls in the app

Once enabled, you can make and receive calls directly in the app.  Here's how.

There are two ways you can make a call from your app

  1. In your app, select the "Keypad" tab in the bottom menu and enter the number you would like to call, if you have multiple phone numbers with us, there will be a dropdown to select which number you would like to call from. Then just hit the call button.
  2. You can also select the "Contacts" tab in the bottom menu and select any contact from your 800 contact list or your phone. Just click on the contact name or number and you will have the choice to call, text, block or delete.

When you are receiving a call

Your phone will ring and it will appear as 800 Audio and show the callers number or contact name. Depending on your notification settings on your phone, you may also receive a banner notification.

If you have Enhanced Caller ID turned on, the additional details will show as well.

**If you are experiencing issues with numbers or users receiving calls, this is often due to the spam filters on the receiving devices. See our Problems Receiving Calls on Mobile Devices article for instructions on how to bypass these issues.
