What should I do if my number transfer is rejected?
Bummer! If your transfer was rejected you’ll need to contact your former provider to check the status of your number. Most providers will require that the account owner contact them directly, and 800.com isn’t able to contact them on your behalf. We would if we could!
Here’s a couple things to note:
- If your former provider instructs you to re-submit your transfer request to 800.com without any changes to the information, please let us know. We'll resubmit your transfer request to your former provider.
- If you need to update the information on your existing transfer order, please re-visit our Transfer Form, edit and then re-submit the transfer. You could also submit a brand new order and contact us at 1-800-800-4321. Make sure you've included all of the required supporting documentation!
