Call Tracking Template for Google Ads

In order for 800.com call tracking to recognize additional data from Google Ads including the KEYWORD the user typed in before they called you, you must enable or modify your Google Ads Tracking Template as followings.

  1. Admin > Account Settings

  2. Auto Tagging: Enable

  3. Tracking > Tracking Template

    New

    If you do not have any existing tracking templates, copy and paste this tracking template:

    {lpurl}?campaignid={campaignid}&adgroupid={adgroupid}&creative={creative}&matchtype={matchtype}&network={network}&device={device}&keyword={keyword}

    Modify Existing

    If you're adding to an existing template, copy and paste this template at the end of any existing templates:

    &campaignid={campaignid}&adgroupid={adgroupid}&creative={creative}&matchtype={matchtype}&network={network}&device={device}&keyword={keyword}
