How To Enable Whisper Message

Review the number settings needed before enabling transcription or related call-handling prompts for a line.

800.com’s Call Transcription feature automatically transcribes your recorded calls into searchable text, making it easy to review, document, and analyze your conversations.

Important Note: Call Transcription requires Call Recording to be enabled first. If Call Recording is not active for your number, you must enable it before you can use Call Transcription.

Step 1: Log Into Your 800.com Account

Go to 800.com and log into your account with your email and password.

Step 2: Select the Number You Want to Transcribe

  1. Click "Numbers" in the left-hand menu.
  2. Find the phone number you’d like to configure.
  3. Click on the number itself or select “Manage” next to it.

Step 4: Enable Whisper Message

Once Call Transcription is enabled:

  • Set a Whisper Message if desired.
  • You can view transcriptions by navigating to Inbox > Recordings.
  • Each transcription is searchable, making it easy to locate specific words or topics within your recorded calls.

Step 6: Search Transcripts

Use the search bar within your inbox to find keywords or phrases from your call transcripts. This allows you to quickly locate conversations without having to listen to entire recordings.

Compliance Reminder

Call recording (and therefore call transcription) may be subject to federal, state, or local laws that require participant consent. Always ensure you are compliant with applicable regulations before enabling these features.
