Toll free directory assistance is no longer provided. Toll-free directory assistance was previously provided by telecommunication providers, namely AT&T and Verizon, as mandated by the [Federal Communications Commission](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Federal_Communications_Commission)for decades.
