NCUS Surcharge

Understand when noncontiguous inbound call surcharges apply, how billing works, and how to request geographic call blocks.

As of 05/27/2024, receiving inbound calls from certain geographical areas, outside the contiguous United States, may incur additional charges due to the significant cost associated with these calls.

We have listed some of the nations impacted by these origination costs, as well as their specific rates, below:

Alaska $1.35/minute

Hawaii $0.23/minute

Canada $0.11/minute

Puerto Rico $0.45/minute

Caribbean Islands $0.09/minute

These charges show up on invoices under a dedicated line item, labeled “NCUS Surcharge Usage”. 800.com automatically absorbs up to $15 of these charges, per month, so only the origination tallies following the $15 monthly allotment are billed to our customers.

If you would like to block these inbound calls to your number(s), then please let us know by emailing us at support@800.com. In your email, please include your support PIN. You can find your support PIN by logging into your account and clicking the account holder’s name on the bottom left (in white lettering), then generating a support PIN.
